I won't be the sit-at-home,
wait-for-your-call someone
you've waited for all your life.

I won't be your mother or your maid,
for I've seen you can take care of yourself,
if you want to.

And I won't be a mistress or a one-night-stand,
someone you only call upon
for favors.

All these people, I refuse to be
in order to keep my sanity
and the independent life I lead.

However, if you're looking for a gooO friend
to share some good times,
I'm available.

So now that we have that straight. ..
