In addition to Joan and Linda Clagett, the office pop- ulated by student managers who make posters, sell tickets, and rent games equipment. It is this group of people that deserves the credit for keeping the Student Center in the middle of campus activity Black Student Union The Black Student Union, acting upon its interest on providing ex- periences for the college community in black culture, had a busy year in 1977-78. The highlight of their pro- gram was Black History Week, which featured a lecture by Judge Bruce M, Wright of the New York City court system. Also during Black History Week, the BSU sponsored the movie "King: Montgomery to Memphis," Later in the spring, the BSU co-sponsored, with the Beres. a cafeteria party featuring disco music and a dance contest 73
