Mortar, Stone and Memories: Yearbook '78 According to the Student Handbook, "The yearbook is a pictorial collage of the varied athletic, and organiza- tional activities representing life on Hill." For the people involved in putting together this publication, however, the yearbook is much more than a printed collage. Staff mem- bers faced marathon layout and typing sessions to meet those imminent deadlines, a game of picture, picture, who's got the picture?, and endless hours of trying to find the name for the face. Despite these trials and tribulations, the staff and the yearbook survived, and the result is now in your hands The official staff members would like to thank all of the unofficial staff members - the people who identified pic- tures, typed for an evening, or donated their pictures and words for these pages - for all their help. You made the job so much easier for us! So, here's the yearbook. We hope you think it is worth the time and effort we spent on it. We think so. 76
