cheerleaders The college spirit and enthusinsm were led this yenr by a vivacious cheering squad con- sisting of eleven members. Headed by their captain, Ardic Campbell, this group gave moral support at many athletic contests. Emphasis this season was placed on improv- ing the pep rallies. The 1)0111Per» girls, band, and the majorettes helped the cheerleaders along this line. The squad has many unforgettable experi- ences from the year 1957-58 . the parade where water wings were needed; the snow and freezing weather at the Hopkins game; and the usual amount of spnlins and backaches. Our huts go off to u cheering squad with a lot of pep and personality, the squad of 1957- 1958. 109
