All the Gamma Betes entered into the spirit of the holiday season by promoting the sale of Christmas cards on campus, and by giving a big Christmas dinner to a needy family (and even toys for the kids!) . Just before the Big Vacation, GBX's Phi Alph sisters were feted at a Christmas party in the clubroom. In honor of the arrival of Santa Claus, some of the more energetic brothers re-arranged the furniture again. Capt. Crouch's present was gratefully received; it has seen constant use SInce ... With exams pending in January, the brothers pitched in to prepare for the "mid-year Hop." Rivers Chambers orchestra and an "Evening in Hades" theme provided a good time for all, and it up. to jazz brought the first semester to an eventful close... Club projects don't take up all the club's time, First semester officers: Fred Hubach-president for the brothers are frequent visitors to lobbies Spike Dennie-vice-president in McDaniel and Blanche Ward. Red and blue Don Chambers-secretary teams have provided strong competition in all Don Haut-treasurer intramural sports; a lot of fun was had, even Carville Downes-Beta Pi though "you can't win 'em all."
