Getting into the social swim, the Preachers Murphy always did like to do things in a big way. gave a tea dance in March for the brothers and their dates. The dance was held in the clubroom. Later in the year Delta Pi Alpha annexed the mechanical drawing lab next door, which had been vacated by Mrs. Marshall, and, with the addition of a new piano and a ping-pong table, turned it into a rumpus room. This convenient arrangement makes life a lot easier for the tele- vision viewers in the clubroom proper. As in the past, Delta Pi Alpha provided leader- ship in varsity sports. This season the Purple and Gold claimed the captains of football, basket- ball, baseball, wrestling and track. Delta Pi Alpha extends sincere best wishes to its graduating seniors. 137
