Sue Dixon, "Snitz" Steele, Della Grauel "Dutch" Rup- penthal, Annette McMahon, Betsy Taylor, Mary Ann Thomas, and Jean Watkins have been the senior ball players. In the spring when the outdoors' call, tennis takes over part of our sports calendar. Many enthusiastic players crowd the courts, and at each hour of the day some "hopeful" is pol- ishing up on that last stroke for intra-mural competition within her class. After intra- murals are played, the school championship is determined by an elimination tournament. Much enjoyment is derived from this game from beginners to the more experienced, and instruction is always available in the person of Miss Todd.
