Captain Fred Holloway and Mike Phillips are the lone lettermen on the team that also included Corltan Mendell, AI Jacobson, Bob Dubel and Walt Sibiski. For the first time in the history of the Mason- Dixon Conference, a golf tournament was spon- sored by the conference and Western Moryland acted as host. The event was one of the lorgest collegiate golf tourneys in the East, since the Mason-Dixon tournament is combined with the eighth annual Western Maryland Invitation Tourn- ament.
