Waiting

In our slow bedtime drop
affair of my breathing
we have a quick keeps you quiet
touch; in the late hours.
your lips part
my hair Why must I
in the morning's half-light awaken nightly
and wet the corner to these tears
of my mouth tucked like infants
new and soft into your pocket
as August. where shoulder meets
                              lateral oblique?
When the room is dark What is our inspiration,
and the shade is drawn, that grips
your eyelashes clean and strong
free-fall to these wandering
over your face words?
and pour shadows
like petals onto my breasts. For Mark N. B. Vergalito

                                                        Bonnie Miranda

You mean so much to me.
                     My life has been evolving
around yours since I met you.
My heart melts with seeing you,
and I feel barren and naked
                      without you by my side.
Within your heart lies my soul.
Never hurt it and it will grow
                      and flourish within you,
and I will grow and flourish in front of you.

                        You are my true love.
I have waited for you forever

                        and you have finally
                              come to me.

                        God has blessed me.
