WONDER IN GS
If heaven were the sky's bac'Jtyard.
Then rain would be rosary-bead marbles
That from the circle drop;
And snow, a dandelion Saint Theresa blows
To keep the boys away.
When angels clap erasers against the school-
yard stones,
Does all the dust sink slowly, turning into
fog?
~Aybe thunder's just the sound of Peter
losing dodge, I .
With clouds, the hopscotch circles MarY
Chalks upon Her ground.
Perhaps sunset;s are the fireworkS God shoots
on Friday night,
The stars, just fading lightning bUgs that
Jesus saves in jars.
If heaven were the sky's backyard. where
angels run with death,
The earth, His broken toy.
