IN THE GARDEN
Bendix wondered at the bugs.
His yard grew green and flowery,
and he would sit and wonder at the
thousands of little lives in his own yard.
One day,
he discovered his friend Wendell
squatting on the shuffleboard deck,
stirring up ants with a stick
and smashing them with a hammer
as they ran out on the gameboard.
Bendix put the hammer inside Wendell's skull.
What an evil child is Bendix.
