REBUILDING WAS THE KEY The Western Maryland field hockey team finished its 1980 season with a pleasant surprise. Two of their players, senior co-captain Becky CassiJly and ju- nior Micky Potts, were named to the MAIAW AIIĀ·Star team. The team is com prised of some of the best collegiate field hockey players in the state This honor came after a season that tested the patience of the entire squad This was a rebuilding year for the Ter- rors. "Rebuilding years" are tough on both the players and the fans alike. But rebuilding is a fact of life of lnter-cotle giate athletics where seniors graduate and positions must be filled by less ex' perienced players The Terrors, 0-10-2 for the season, faced such a rebullding year that they returned only seven letter winners and had 17 underclassmen on their roster.
