Garvin, wrestling in the 130 pound class, has three pins and one deci- sion and Basye, in the 157 pound bracket, has registered four decisions. Sophomore Gil Smink, a 167 pounder has pinned his last two opponents. Juniors Bud Knefely (147 pounds) and Jim Cupp (177 pounds) and freshmen Gary' Kulick (heavyweight), George Schweb- ler (167 pounds), and Dan jett (137 pounds) have also turned in nne performances this sea- son. Valuable support and team depth was present in reserves Dick Steen, Stun Sunder- land, Mike Roney, Jim Dickman and Kin~~ Hill. Early Pallpractices indicated high spirit. By changing weight classes, the men cooperated to keep the team at its strongest. The outlook for next year's wrestling squad is very bright, since none of the men graduate this year and there are several highly promising freshmen. Knefcly and Smink get ready to tie each other up.
