I PHI ALPHA MU The 1953 school year started off big with the entrance of twenty-seven new "calves" and a new sponsor, Mrs, Charles Crouch, What a party we had that night! Under the leadership of our first semester offi- cers: president, Lois Cermak; vice-president, Marj orie Cherry; secretary, Adeline Allen; treas- urer, Carol Herdman; chaplain, Barbara Almony; sergeant-at-arms, Barbara Harding; and alumnae secretary, Mimi Whitfield, we kept up the Phi Alph traditions, With so many helpers, our Homecoming pro- ject were finished in no time, and who will ever forget our float with the real cow? (Purple, of course.] Three Phi Alphs graced the Homecom- ing Court, one reigning as Queen!
