The Women's Athletic Association (WAA) plans and directs this program. Intramural sports is the foundation upon which women's athletics is based. In each sport, class teams are selected after several w.eeks of practice. Playoffs are held in each division of teams, and at the end of each sports season an honorary varsity team is elected by ,J1eexecutive board of the WAA . . Awards for active participation in athlet- ICS are made by the association through a point system based on the intramural sports program. Class numerals require ten points, "WM" monogram 800 points, and a ~reen and gold "1\1" with a sweater, 1500 points. This year three senior women were D. Cathell, D, Wilder, B ..
