GOINCHoME Amy Higgs
My first day of school, they all laughed at me.
l'd curl up in a comer crying at recess.
I told the teacher, "I want to go home."
At the sleep over, they all ignored me.
I laid down in my sleeping bag.
I thought to myself, "I want to go home."
In college they all hated me.
l'd cry in the solitude of my dorm.
I cried, "I want to go home."
At the bridge, they all prayed for me.
They asked me, "Why?" and cried.
I smiled, "I'm going home."
