Seeing You Through the Eyes of My Soul
As I watch you through the air of the night
I can stand to sit there until the morning's sunlight
For I see what no one before me has seen
It's like the new birth of spring into green
You're the stunning symbol ofthe bloom of a rose
A white, yellow and red one from the bouquet that I chose
Representing the everlasting life of such love
One that surpasses any reach for above
For it's my heart that describes you beyond any norm
In every shape, fashion, figure or form
Because if one was to know the absolute truth
Its eyes would tell you a reality without proof
The soul of one's body is the spirit of one's heart
Yet the love in one's life is just the first part
A part too big for any soul to join in alone
Turned into a flawless play when their feelings were shown
It's your eyes that pull me in closer to you
I was mesmerized by their shades of blue
When you give me that one and only chance to stare through
The eyes of my soul see the love that is true.
