There is a sea green background
for these waterfalls

with wispy soft canopies of lashes
above and below

to catch some of the pain, hot and real.
Then redness through glassy films
appears,
vessels broken and irritated,
angry and hurt like the soul ...

But soon peace and healing will come-
the bright white of clarity

of finding Him again and realizing
that He never left.

For only in the waterfalls is there
cleansing of the doubt
and a return to the
beauty and innocence
that was meant to be.
