shortly before Teddy.

Two bright lights suddenly shown around the bend. Whe~
we saw the large car, we settled back again feeling sure It
would pass. When the chauffered limousine pulled up beside
us, it made our car look like a small toy. Teddy hopped
out briskly dressed in white shirt and the finest tweed sports-
coat we had ever seen.
"Well, hello. I'd like you to meet my father,
Mr. Ruprecht."

handsome grayed gentlem an took her hand. "How do you do.
You were so very kind to our traveling son. We've been
eagerly awaiting your arrival. The upstairs maid has pre-
pared bedding for you. I'

"Ted must leave for his journey back to Cambridge for
spring exams in the morning, but you're more than welcome to
sleep late as you care to and stay quite as long as you like.
Mrs. Ruprecht returned from Our home in West Germany
