The 1993 season was not kind to the WMC men's tennis team, but the future is bright as freshmen were the biggest winners for the 1-10 squad. First-year player Blake Beares showed promise as he topped the team in victories with a 3-8 singles mark and a 4-6 record in doubles. Seth Noone, another freshman, was 3-5 in doubles and joined Beares as ............................ Men's Tennis Future Hope the Green Terrors' representatives in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) singles tournament. Both players lost in the first round' The team's leading upperclassman was sophomore Colin Clark with records of 2-9 in singles and 3-9 in doubles. Clark and senior Scott Aquila were defeated in the first round of the MAC doubles tournament· WMC was winless in its five MAC-South- west Section matches. Head Coach Alex Ober.
