The WMC golf program continued its rise as one of the finest in the region with another Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) championship and several other fine showings in 1993 • WMC captured its second MAC title in the past three years, defeating 20 conference opponents during the 36-hole tournament in late April at Mountain Laurel Resort in White Haven, Pa. Senior Steve Comes won his second MAC individual crown, the first coming in 1991, with a four-over par score of 148 • ........................... . Golf Second Title The senior trio of Jeff Dierks, Comes and Tom Brandt wound up their outstanding careers as the team's three lowest scor- ers. Dierks, who was fourth in the MAC tournament and won the Millersville Invita- tional, averaged just 75.7 strokes per round. Comes was second with a 79.5 stroke average, with Brandt next at 80.5- In addition to the conference title, the Green Terrors won their own 16-team WMC Invitational and defeated numerous Golf 151
