The Green Terror women opened the campaign with a fourth-place effort at the WMC Relays, their highest finish since placing third in 1988. WMC then went on to its best performance ever in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) championship, winding up in a tie for seventh out of 18 teams s Freshman Julie Cox was one of the dominant performers at the MAC meet She won the 100- meter hurdles to become the school's first female ............................ MAC champion since the championship began in Track & Field Great Start 1982, and added a second-place finish in the 100- meter dash and a third-place run in the 200. Cox finished the year with school records in the 100 hurdles, 100 dash and the shot put. WMC's men also started the year off right, placing fourth in the WMC Relays for their best finish in 10 years. The Green Terrors continued their success, finishing fifth of 18 teams at the highly-competitive Messiah Invitational and coming in 10th at the MAC affair- For the second consecutive year, Kent lightbourn was the top Green Terror at the MAC meet. The senior from the Bahamas was the runner-up in the 400-meter hurdles and fourth in the 400-meter dash.
