WMC was 6-4 after senior Tim Kleckner shut out Moravian 7-0 in the first game of a doubleheader April 13. The Green Terrors fell 7-6 in the second game of the Moravian twin bill to begin the string of nine losses, seven of which were to Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC)-Southwest Section opponents. Hitting Home Dickinson, and WMC continued the upswing with victories at Catholic and at home over Ursinus for a season-ending four-game winning streak. Unfortu- nately, the mid-year slide doomed the Green Terrors' section hopes as they ended up 4-8 in the MAC-Southwest· Sophomore shortstop Jerry Resh buill upon his impressive freshman season by leading the team in several offensive categories. The MAC All-Star topped WMC in batting with a .392 average, hits with 31 and runs batted in with 16· Center-fielder Gary Carter joined Resh on the conference All-Star team after hitting .333 with seven doubles and three home runs. Kleckner pitched much better than his 2-4 record indicates, as the right-hander allowed just 15 runs in over 40 innings of work. 1st Row: Tony Brust, Jeff Laumann, Kevin Henneman, Jerry ~~hk~1~i~~;:~~1:~ab~~~~~,:J:~~~~1~:~t~~~~:~~~~.~g~tt Stem, Chuck McLean, .PhilGetty.
