A senior-dominated attack sparked WMC to its best season in five years as the Green Terrors finished 10-3· Joe Furnari topped WMC in scoring with 32 goals and 42 assists for 74 points. Furnari, a two- time Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) All-Star, ended his fine career as the se- cond-leading scorer in school history • Fellow seniors Brian Sattler (35 goals, nine assists), Andy Price (21 goals, nine assists) and Peter Kangas (20 goals three assists) finished third through fifth in scoring. Sattler, who joined Furnari on the 1993 MAC All-Star squad, concluded his Men's Lacrosse Senior Experience Green Terror playing days sixth on the career scoring list. The lone underclass- man to break into the top five scorers was freshman Dean Coccia. The first-year phenom compiled 57 points on 24 goals and 33 assists. WMC started the year 1-2 with losses to Rochester Institute of Technology and Gettysburg, teams which were ranked in the Division III top 20 all year. First-year head coach Keith Reit- enbach then guided his team to six straight wins, including WMC's first vic- tory over Franklin & Marshall in 10 years. WMC had its first 10-win season since the 1988 team wenl1 0-4. The Green Terrors were 3-1 in the MAC-Western Division.
