WOMEN'S BASKETBALL , ... As Far As Building A Team, We Were Successful' The team was hamstrung early in the season by the loss of five key players They missed the first four games. Al- though the Terrors were just 1-3 after the early part of the season, they were 1-0 in MAC play after a 63-17 victory over Lebanon Valley. Colleen Gahagan was the only re- turnee on the eight palyer squad of the early season. Sha scored 35 points in two games at the Gino's Classic, and was named to the AII- Tournament team Donna Mummert finished the season second on the team in scoring. She was also the Terror's field goal shooting leader Colleen Gahagan was the scoring leodre. Freshman Louise Nemshick dominat- ad inside play and was the team's re- bounding leader. A pleasant surprise among the Freshmen was guard Laura Winner, She won a starting job after a great performance in the second half of a loss to Albright College Jayne Kernan averaged 6.1 points per game and helped with 35 assists, highest on the team. Despite the numerous losses, there were bright moments throughout the season. and coach Martin and the players look forward to much improve- ment to
