After an explosive start in the James Madison Tournament, the Western Maryland wrestling team was hurt by key injuries and off-campus course re- quirements, Unfortunately, this meant that WMC would not field a full team frequently this year, leading them to a 4-9 regular season record. However there were some bright spots for this dedicated team First of ali, the Terror wrestlers cap- tured a first, a third and a fourth place finish in the pre-season Tournament at James Madison University. Then came the third, fourth, and fifth place finishes in the Lafayette Tournament. Finally, Western Maryland placed two fifth and two sixth place winners in the MAC; Dave Yurcisin and Lee Meyers took fifth, while Glen Yurcisinand Jeff Kidwellfinishedsixth The vurcisin brothers, Dave and Glen, had the best records on the team. Dave compiled a 9-0 dual meet record, while brother Glen led the team in takedowns with 42, and earned a 10-3 record
