Free State Troupe Jan Term is a lime for free expression in all studies and this year was no exception. A group of travelling min- strels frequented elementary schools around the county in the snow and performed in the round, tales of Mary- land folk lore. Fifteen students became the characters besides being the stage noises and other asundry props These students became the characters of Miss Lydia, Ahrwud, Frieda, Miss Emma, Matthew and many others besides being cows, sheep, pigs, slamming doors, Indian drums, and thunder. Most of the scenery and props were pantomined thus the audience to let their imag- ination flow. The five were coordinated by Marilyn Warsofsky and designed for the young and the young at heart 101
