Theater Productions This year, as in the past, the dramatic art department of WMC has presented a surprising number of theatrical productions. In the fall, Hedda Gabler was presented as a new adaptation written by director Max Dixon. In the early spring, the department presented Bits and Pieces, a play about death and dying, in conjunction with Dr. Kubler-Ross' lecture. These productions, along with the many student-directed shows and the spring musical, made the year busy for the school's drama majors. In 1977-78 the drama department was also working under the handicap of Alumni Hall being closed for renovation Next year, however, promises to be an especially bright one for Western Maryland theatre, with the expanded possibilities available with the new equipment in Alumni Hall. 98
