Golf The 1970 WMC golf team proved to be one of the most successful in the school's history. Co-captains Billy Dayton and Roger Wynkoop led an all vetere n team to a 10-4 season. This proved to be the best record in both the Middle Atlantic Conference and the Mason-Dixon Conference. Among the broken rec- ords were: highest career point total (Billy Devtcn-c-ol], lowest round (Roger Young-73), most con- secutive victories (6). and lowest away team total (471). Much of success of the season was due to the expert job done by the two coaches Ron Sis] and Bob Erb. This year's team loses only two Seniors, Tom Trice and Roger Wynkoop and thus; next year's team should continue the winning tradition. The 1970 WMC Golfer of the Year Award was presented to Senior Roger Wynkoop. 87
