The cindermen had the second best record in the school's history as they posted a 6-2 record. Freshman Joe Brockmeyer and sophomore returnee Dave Roulette led in the individual scoring. They dominated the sprints and jumps all year and also aided in breaking school records for the 440 and 880 yard relays along with John Skinner and Johnson Bowie. Lynn Boniface had a fine season in the pole vault, finishing in third place in the conference meet. Jim Zucco was another fine Freshman who found time to break the school record in the 440 intermediate hurdles. Finally, distance runner Gary McWilliams broke school records in the mile and two mile events. Gary also placed third in the three mile event at the Atlantic Coast College Division Championships. Next year should be another fine season since only one senior will graduate. Un- fortunately he will be hard to replace. Randy Klinger holds the school record in the high jump and has been a mainstay on the track team since his Freshman year. However, the WMC track future looks very bright with all the returning lettermen. 84
