WOMEN'S BASKETBALL It's been a brand-new ball game ever since the Whimsee Terrorettes saw one of the great- est changes in women's basketball come about -the five-player game. Since the game is similar to men's basketball with unlimited drib- ble and all the players free to roam the court, the girls found that they all must be able to shoot, dribble, and .rebound. Hours were spent by Coach Carol Fritz in moving players to new positions. Real talent blossomed at times, only to fade away. The court became the scene of work, striving, and upheaval; but the Terror- ettes kept trying, and through all the wins and losses theqirls learned about the new game and themselves. They found out what it meant not to up, to "Let's Go!" the end 'came the invitation to the first Maryland State Intercollegiate Basketball Tour- nament held at Towson State College. And time also came to look back at the changes and upheavals out of which evolved a team with hope for next year. SCOREBOARD WMC . ..
