For the WMC basketball team, the characters were different but the script was the same. Although new blood and an overall increase in height were injected into the lineup, the team could not produce a winning season. It started off well enough as the Terrors posted vic- tories in their first two outings. Then the team hit the skids and a winning season became the impossible dream. In many cases the opposition proved to be too much. There was highly-touted Baltimore University, and even though the Terrors played well, they were no match for the likes of small college scoring .leede- Bunny Wilson. Against nationally ranked Philadelphia Textile the Terrors were simply inept. No doubt it was very frustrating for Coach Ron Sisk and the players, but through it all, team morale never sagged. Leading the team was senior captain Jeff Davis and four year varsity man John Heisler. In their last season it is to their credit as competitors that at no time did they give less than 100%. Bascially, the team was young as shown by the playing SCOREBOARD time logged by sophomores Randy and Bill Hutchinson WMC. .105 Salisbury .......... 85 and freshmen Bob Decker, John Bayles, and Harry Buck- WMC. .... 81 Washington ........ 86 ingham.
