DELTA SIGMA KAPPA "The Delts" October 3, 1969 was a red (and white) letterday for the Delts-the clubroom door opened 33 times ... enter the 1969 pledge class! Rushing headlong through their first night as Delfs. the pledges progressed from a party in the Bachelor clubroom to the first annual football field gala, to an after-curfew intersorority sere- nade that captured a spirit new-and needed-on the Hill. Hell Week meant hell missions-"We have to go where in the men's dorms and get what?," and with the aid of Blanche Pixies, Pledgemaster Joanna was snatched from her sleep at dawn. The new Delts added their lively con- tributions by helping to revise the outdated constitution, supervising the Delt's hot pretzels at the Parent's Day football game, and entertaining their older sis+ers-c-t'Pl-oebe's Eavesdrop_ ping Elf is worse than P.B.!" The Christmas Party with Fran Ann as the Delt Santa turned into a caroling serenade, as we were joined by the Bachelors in a broed-bro circle in the middle of a snowy quad. Chairman PJ and her formal committee made craters rise in the clubroom as "200 I: A Space Odyssey" unfolded in March.
