Gamma Beta Chi The paths of brotherhood have led us in many direc- tions. Brothers of initiative, leadership and concern spearheaded major and not-so-major aspects of campus life. Individuals have ranged their interests from the leadership of the S.G.A. and the ROTC Battalion to the low-scoring Moon Flashers. School-spirited brothers, determined to avenge the theft of the Terror mask, staged an early-morning raid on the Lambda Chi at Randolph-Macon and made it back to GBX's defensive perimeter with some hostage trophies for ransom. Jean-Claude Nibali's gracious offer to give free skiing lessons resulted in many fun-spilled weekends on the slopes. Dave Hilder's Gamma Beta Chi Productions out-laughed Laugh-In with a successful smoker film. More entertaining yet was the Continuous Show in Baltimore, which everyone saw at least twice. We also entertained pledging Phi Alphs in the clubroom. All of which provides plenty of material for a schizoid Passion Bunny. Gamma Beta Chi is something more than the sum of forty-four individuals. One may speak of colors, parties, jackets, intramurals and meetings, and we are one; one may also speak of individuals, and we are many. This year has proved, more than ever, that diversity is chal- lenging, interesting and frustrating-but our success as a group followed the realization that we cannot base our brotherhood on likenesses alone.
