Pi Alpha Alpha With this Expansion year, twenty-seven new pledges entered the brotherhood in March of '68. Individuality remains a keynote with contrasts on every hand, including scholars Gober and Wiggs, lady-killers Cerniglia and Hop- ple, gung-ho ROTC men Rudman and Cline, athletes Klinger and Lewis and the cast of thousands from the movie "Big Deal". Wiggs enjoyed playing Santa Claus at the shopping center almost as much as the kids. The girls still don't like our serenading and Dave Moore is giving free voice lessons. If there's another ugly man contest this year, nominations will be wide open. The commando raid for Christmas trees, led by Hugh "Sergeant Growler" Carew, was a total success. Travelling was the theme of many Black and White endeavors-travelling to Westminster with the Sigmas to party with disadvantaged children-Brother Roj to the Taj Mahal-to the Wild West for a party and Edmund Makosky's famous trip sans roadmap. This year Pi Alpha Alpha welcomed former Black and White Don Zauche as an advisor. A year of both changes and tradition-Pi Alpha Alpha continues to lead its members "Toward Truer Manhood".
