Christmas parties, spring picnics and the World University Service Baznnr. The assoctu- tion also provides varied services such as Christmas and Lenten Communion, the Easter Pby, outdoor Vesper services, and Religious Emphasis Week. In addition, the S.C.A. works with the S.C.A. in sponsoring Freshman Week, and is the co-ordinator of all the religious groups 011 the Hill. Realizing all of this, it is not hard to see why the S.C.A. is an indispensable campus organization. It is both a bridge between the secular and spiri- tual aspects of campus life, and a rallying point for all those students who seek com- panionship and fellowship in their religious activities. In this way, the organization is a natural complement to one of the major func- tions of Western Maryland College. This year's officers included: president, John Long; vice president, Esther Upperco; secre- tary, Lorena Stone; treasurer, Wayne Conrad. 102
