A traditional contribution to college culture was '59's Follies, The Making of Prudence Grunion. Long months of writing produced a script, and remarkably few rehearsals revealed deeply hidden talents. Togas became fashion- able in the classic setting of an ancient Greek acropolis (which bore remarkable resemblance to a certain college "Hill".) At the time of the autumnal equinox, gods and goddesses in caps, gowns, and Phi Beta Kappa keys descended from Mt. Olympus and welcomed new candidates for citizenship to the city state of Dianopolis.
