Student Government Assotiation Representing the voice of the campus, the Student Government Association meets every Monday night to discuss current problems. Elected last spring by the entire student body, to the presidency and vice-presidency respec- tively, were Allen Gilmore and Sherry Phelps. This year Bea Gill acted as secretary, and William Achenbach filled the treasurer's posi- tion. The Association's scope of business includes every aspect of campus life. The first evidence of their work is the green blotters which are found in every student's room. Orientation week, Homecoming, Christmas tree lighting ceremony, as well as responsibility for the rec hall, traffic problems, reporting maintenance troubles, and planning special activities, are a few of the major aspects of their work.
