Co-captain Art Shanklin, by his good record throughout the season, proved to he the mainstay of the team. In the heavier classes were Bill Bimcstefcr, Co-captain Ray Foby, lH1d Jack Duhl. Walt Preston, Jimmy Tone, Jim LeVay, Joe Raven is, Bill Stewart and Charlie Clark will form the nucleus of next year's wrestling squad. Bill Kern, 11 Western Maryland graduate of 1950, returned fro III a short stay in the ring as a professional wrestler and coached the 1953 wrestling teem. Shanklin uses II "figure-four" on Duhl. 151
