After the odor of moth balls had finall y worn off the furniture of the club room. the Phi Alphs settled down to the year's activities. Bidding time came around. and when the silence was broken we found ourselves with twenty-five new members. The pledges survived the week of initia- tion, during which they appeared on the campus as babies. Indians. and old-fash- ioned girls. successively. and were for- mally accepted as full members. Our an- nual Christmas party put us in the holiday spirit. Second semester with its tea and rush party was weathered successfully. and so-back into the moth balls until next year.
