'T CHARLES MONROE UTI, JR. "Charley" _l Physics New Market, Maryland I~ F "Meet trials with smiles and they Vdl1ish, Face cares with a song and they fiee" =r U T Z took up his abode having varied Maryland and experience at Blue Ridge of t= at Western at the beginning College training our Junior year after College. The addition of Charley to our class was a boost of no small value. His size does not surpass his kind disposition, nor does his zeal for knowledge mar the happiness of his college life. He took a very active part in his literary society, of which organization he became the secretary in his senior year. In spite of Charley's resisting power we occasionally see him strolling across the campus with one of the fair sex. As a student and athlete he wins fame for himself wherever he goes. A big brother to all, he shares our joys and sorrows alike and never fails to make his presence felt by the good which he does. pilg~ one JlU"YIdrcd THE eL:QH!:) 192,7. 1 ~•..
