JOSEPH LESTER WEIHRAUCH Chemistry "Les" Baltimore, Maryland Baltimore Polytechnic Institute Webster Literary Society; Y. M. C. A.; Busi- ness Manager "Y" Handbook, '24; Officers' Club; Editor-in-Chief 1925 ALOHA. "'Thought is deeper than all speech, Feeling deeper than all thought." I holds the final blue pencil; consequently, much must remain unsaid. The Tis impossible to write a biography of "Les," for he is editor-in-chief and fact that his classmates chose him as editor of the annual speaks volumes and tells adequately the position that he holds in their esteem. And the success of this year' book is largely due to his untiring effort and his keen ability to dis, criminate. "Les" is always ready to furnish any information that he may possess to those who have not been as fortunate as he in the acquiring of it; and right here it may be said that he is a very storehouse of facts. As a student he manages to hold his own with the best. However, it is in the realm of Y. M. C. A. work that his greatest contribution to his college has been made. It has been largely through his efforts that Western Maryland has achieved a close relationship with the other colleges of the State and has been recognized by the Inter-collegiate officers as the leader in Y. M. C. A. work in the State of Maryland. We will make no prophecy, or draw no conclusion. Our final word is: Watch "Les." [751
