ENGAGEMENT
GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY
Archivist & Special Collections Librarian, Andrea Briggs, presented to
the Carroll County Genealogical Society on how McDaniel College’s
collections can be used for genealogical research by the local community.
FESTIVAL OF WREATHS
Hoover Library staff created an intricate wreath titled “The Perks
of Being a Wallflower” for the Carroll County Art Council’s
fundraising event and placed for the second year in a row.
BATTLE OF THE BOOKS
Hoover Library partnered with the Carroll County Public Library to host
the Battle of the Books program for local private and home-school students again
this year. This event promotes McDaniel to potential future students in a fun and educational way.
