Worth the Risk? She
I don't really know you, Like water, so she goes
but I like your smile; a motion like she knows
Those ice blue eyes,
your distinctive style. but then inside, within her cries
"which way willi go?"
I'd like to take time,
find out who you are; and she's lying in her room
Take a walk through the woods, and the world stretches wide
a drive in my car.
she waits for no one
We might hit it off, she caresses time
and even be friends,
but I look to my heart Down the road, the wind blows
and the lesson it lends. secrets softly told
That's how it started, riding high and dropping low
my last romance, she wraps herself in snow
friendly intentions,
but when given half a chance and she picks up off the ground
things someone else already found
OUf hearts took hold,
and now I must grieve, voices now inside her
we cared for each other, which one is her own?
but I had to leave.
But through the woods, she knows she could
And now I feel as though rise above her highs
I'd like to know you,
share in your fun, and in her heart she feels the art
and things that you do. reflected through her eyes
It's not fear of rejection and the day is hers to caress
or feeling a fool. and she knows more is sometimes really less
I've dealt with them both
I've learned much in school. She thinks of places
where she will arrive ...
