Well, Harv, honey,
 I'm telIin' ya,
 I can't wait't thump
my shoes on m'own welcome mat-
 with all this hollerin'
around here a person can't even think.
I'm catchin' the 4:30 Greyhound next
 Friday and headin' home.
 Pick m'up at 7.
 Mary.

There were no calendars then,
but Michelangelo was sure that it was
the sixth day that we were born.
God, big and white, holds an anxious
but uncreated Eve in one arm
while the other the limb of omnipotence,
reaches out to touch the limp outstretched
arm of the beautiful but lifeless archetype.
Though their fingertips are inches apart
a spark of life jumps from Him to him.
This is the creation of Adam.
