DearHarv: By Alisa Rock
Walked the dog today but he reaJJy walked
me 'cause my bursitis's killin'
me. Then I burnt the beans black
in the skillet. Smelt like that time
Billy set fire to the cat.
Norma and the kids are rattlin'
around in the trailer like jumpin' beans
stuck in a tin can. Drivin' me nuts.
Earlleft'r again for the road-
man's got itchier feet than Johnny Appleseed.
But he's like gas-
keeps com in' back at ya at the worst times.
Norma is back on government-
that 01' bag-faced Simpson lady
next door got her t'thinkin' it's better
to waste away like a dried-up prune
in a charity line than't go to work.
I can't knock any sense into'r head.
Norma prattles on,
'bout the kids and all, but it's only excusin'.
She's got more hot air
than one of those big flyin' balloons.
Norma's kids'r worse than rats
always pokin' and chawin' '
at each other.
She ~traps'm but they pay her no mind.
It's her own fault-
she's always lazin' ar'ound
like a drugged-up cow.
