The river flows so slowly and is broad
= it is broad on the breast of th e earth--
The jungle air is heavy, hard to breathe,
breathing slow, breathing deep; in your sleep
huge butterflies are floating, yellow dreams;
while flowers ooze aroma serpents fawn
on smooth and balding limbs of fallen trees.
