ACCOMPLISHMENTS

JESSAME FERGUSON, LIBRARY DIRECTOR, successfully obtained the IMLS Sparks! Ignition Grant awarded
for the project “IL Framework Cooperative Project for At-Risk Student Success in Smaller Colleges” and is
principal investigator leading the collaborative project. She served as Chair Elect of the Library Organization and
Management Section of ALA’s Library Leadership & Management Association (LLAMA). She also served as co-
chair of LLAMA’s Assessment Section Organizational Practices Committee leading a project to build an assessment
repository for the profession. She served on the Maryland Library Consortium Board and lead the project to hold
the first ever Maryland Information Literacy Summit including overseeing four task groups of librarians from
public, school and academic libraries in developing new information literacy milestones for each segment. She
was co-presenter for the program “Mentoring in Libraries: We are Better Together” and was lead presenter for the
poster presentation on “Information Literacy Across the Lifespan for Maryland Citizens: Developing Benchmarks
and Inspiration for all Librarians” for the Maryland Library Association & Delaware Library Association Annual
Conference on May 11, 2017.

DAVID BRENNAN, HEAD OF TECHNICAL SERVICES & E-RESOURCES LIBRARIAN, serves on McDaniel
College’s Graduate Assessment Committee; is Chair of Hoover Library’s Saftey Committee; is Central Pennsylvania
Health Sciences Libraries Association’s Listserv Manager, Elected Treasurer, and Webmaster; and is a Peer Reviewer
of Pennsylvania Libraries: Resesarch & Practice. Presented “Data Visualization: An Introduction, with Examples Using
Tableau,” at the Spring Meeting of the Central Pennsylvania Health Sciences Libraries Association (CPHSLA)
