HOMECOMING 1981: A TIME Homecoming: certainly not the first event of the year, but possibly the most enjoyable weekend of first semester! Each year new names appear in the team rosters and Homecoming court, and new faces in the crowds blend with the older, more familiar faces of upperclassmen, instructors, and alumni who return to see old friends and join in the festivities. This year's festivities began with a spirited parade featuring King Regan Smith and Queen Colleen Kelly and the theme "It's a sunny day!" from the musical, "Annie." The day's sports rivalry started with the soccer and cross country teams competing against Susquehanna, and climaxed with our football game vs. the Muhlenberg Mules after the Maryland National Guard's parachute demonstration team "dropped in" with the game ball. The day's events ended with the rededication of Winslow Center and the overpopulated Homecoming dance in the cafeteria and forum.
