Thinking back, we can still remember the tackles of "Diet" coming up hard from his container spot, or Vic engulfing runners in their own backfield, or possibly, the second effort of Jerry breaking away from the line, Boz threading the needle to Klinger or Brown, and little Bill Fanning knocking a man twice his size allover the field. Western Maryland's football fortunes started to sag after the Hampden-Sydney victory and the season ended Above: Coaches Zepp, Jones and Case. on a sour note as the Terrors bowed to the Blue Jays of Johns Hopkins.
